⚠IMPORTANT NOTES WHEN WORKING WITH DISCOUNTS AND SALE PRICES⚠
✅This video used US currency in the examples, but discounts and sale prices can be calculated using this method with other currencies as well.

✅Money always goes to the hundredths place when we have change. For example, #1 gives us an answer of 10.2 when we multiply 68 x 0.15. I wrote the discount as \$10.20 because money goes to the hundredths place when we have change. \$10.2 does NOT mean \$10 and 2 cents, it means \$10 and 20 cents, so we write it as \$10.20. On the other hand, if you get a decimal that goes past the hundredths place, for example 15.83845, then it needs to be rounded to the hundredths place. That decimal would round to \$15.84. Something to keep in mind.
